Antoine Bellemare

As a multidisciplinary artist and postdoctoral researcher at Bard College and the Université de Montréal, Antoine's work examines how perceptual ambiguity guides creative cognition. He designs human–machine interfaces, or cyber-ecosystems, that use biosignals and AI to cultivate new modes of intuition and experiential learning. His photographic work explores abstract living forms and the slow disintegration of human artifacts, while his poetic practice expands on surrealist naturalism.
