Windering
A walk in the forest where the land speaks back, voiced by an AI spirit that a distant circle of watchers keeps dreaming.

About
Windering is a bio-adaptive walk in nature, created with RE-AK Technologies. A wanderer moves freely through the forest wearing a light headset that streams their point of view along with signals of emotion and attention. Elsewhere, a circle of human watchers follows the same walk through an AI-augmented version of that view, where faces surface in the bark and light gathers wherever the gaze rests. Their murmurs and intuitions feed a voice that the wanderer hears as the spirit of the place, an ancient and playful presence that seems to know them. The piece runs as a small ecosystem of agents sharing one bus. A vision stage reads depth, saliency and pareidolia from the live point of view, a diffusion stream paints what the watchers see, and a narrator model weaves the watchers' words, the wanderer's affect and the living image into rare and quiet lines, spoken in a cloned and morphing voice over a soundscape that swells as the world draws near. Across the walk, the moments that move the wanderer are kept as figures that return. One of them settles and stays, becoming a small personal mythology that walks out of the forest alongside them. Windering stages attention as a sacred act and turns being witnessed into being held, folding third-person perspectives back into a first-person experience.
